So…. I figured it was time to actually use the blog on my site. When I was planning the site map for my website, I wanted to make sure to incorporate a blog. I had every intention of using it frequently…..but things don’t always go as planned!
A while back I posted an Instagram story asking for recommendations in Boston. I wanted to branch out since I always go to the same places when I visit Boston. Many people expressed their interest in me sharing Boston recommendations so here we are!
Tatte- It physically isn’t possible for me to make a trip to Massachusetts without stopping at Tatte, even if its just for a latte. I’ll usually bring my laptop or a book and make myself right at home.
Masa- This spot has some delicious food and a perfect brunch menu that isn’t overwhelming. The best part is the brunch special they do! Great prices, great food, great mimosas; what more can you ask for?
The Friendly Toast- They have everything you could ever imagine and more; including mimosa flights! I’m pretty sure I don’t need to say anything else…. ;)
Faneuil Hall- I love stopping in here for lunch especially when I go to Boston with a group of people. There’s something for everyone and some great shopping in the area!
Giacomo’s- Arguably the best Italian food in Boston! You can’t go wrong.
Toscano’s- Another great Italian spot in Boston, with an amazing wine selection! I also love the surrounding area…perfect for a walk after dinner.
Lolita- This place had been on my list for YEARS so I’m glad I was able to make it last time I was in Boston. I am OBSESSED with the decor and vibe at this place. The food and drinks totally lived up to the hype. Every visit is filled with some surprises making the experience even more fun. If you’re planning on going, make sure you have a reservation otherwise you could end up waiting an hour.
Pasta Beach- Last time I was in Boston I stopped here for drinks! I LOVE the decor here and they had some great cocktails.
The Lookout- Boston isn’t exactly the city for rooftops but I did love visiting this spot. They have some amazing cocktails and I love the vibe. In the colder months (about 9 months out of the year) they have the igloos so you can enjoy your drinks without being too cold.
Cisco Brewers- Originally from Nantucket, Cisco has an awesome pop-up spot in the Seaport area. It is the perfect spot for weekend day drinking. I loved the ACK Mule!
SWEETS AND SNACKS
I obviously had to find a way to work Georgetown Cupcakes into the list because i am obsessed.
Georgetown Cupcakes- Another spot I ALWAYS have to visit when I’m in Boston.
Ogawa Coffee- Prepare to be mesmerized by their amazing latte art. I also have to give them a shoutout because I was pretty impressed with their matcha latte. Check out their insta: https://www.instagram.com/ogawacoffeeusa/.
Milkbar- Birthday Cake Truffles!! Plus the famous Milkbar cake. SO GOOD!
Blackbird Donuts- I’m not a big donut person but I loved seeing the unique combos and flavors they use at Blackbird!
ON MY LIST
These are some of the places I have been hearing about or have been on my list for a while!
Milkweed- Last time I went to Boston we made a reservation and still had to wait another 45 minutes so we ended up going to a different spot for brunch. However, with all the buzz i’ve heard about this place I know I NEED to go……just have to plan to wait.
Stephanie’s on Newbury- I have been hearing about Stephanie’s for so long and I can’t believe I still haven’t made it.
The Landing- I love the location of this place! Just need to go back and try some of their drinks….which look amazing. They are know for their fishbowls!
Scorpion Bar- I only recently heard about this place from a few people and I knew I needed to add it to my list.
I hope you guys enjoyed this list of recommendations for Boston. Share your favorite spots with me in the comments! And let me know if you try any of the places mentioned above!
